Career Change, Job Search, Resume Building and Writing

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a 10 year cancer survivor. Currently, I have the go ahead regarding return back to work. However, my previous education  was a B.A.S in Culinary Arts. I have switch career since, due to health and have obtained a master degree in Public Health Education. I do not have any experience in this new field. Hence, I am having difficulty locating a job in public health field, in addition to, my ten year gap employment history. Can you provide any assistance, as too how I can make my resume more appealing to employers. I will truly appreciate any help, I can get. Thank you in advance.

I know that you have also submitted your resume to our resume review service and I will give you feedback today. To address your question about not having any experience in public health, I suggest networking into public health non-profits and agencies with the goal of finding an internship. Even if it is unpaid or low pay, this is the most popular and effective way to get experience. Internships are not just for college students or recent grads. 

I am going to look at your resume now and will let you know what you can do to tailor it more toward public health.
