FAQ:

Q: Can I receive CEUs for a webinar attended this year if I attended a webinar with the same title in a prior calendar year?
A: If you successfully meet all requirements for CEUs, we will issue you a certificate. However, we recommend checking with your regulatory board(s) as courses with duplicate titles may come into question and/or not be accepted when contact hours are submitted towards license and/or certification renewal.

Q: If I attend two webinars with similar titles in the same calendar year can I get CEU credit for both?
A: If you successfully meet all requirements for CEUs, we will issue you a certificate. However, we recommend checking with your regulatory board(s) as courses with duplicate titles may come into question and/or not be accepted when contact hours are submitted towards license and/or certification renewal.

Q: Do I need to download special software to attend the webinar?
A: The webinars require Adobe Flash Player to view. Click here to perform a system check to determine if you can receive streaming media. Additionally, you will need a computer with a working internet connection and a telephone line for the audio portion of the webinar.

Q: Why is the sound separate from the video for webinars?
A: To meet CAC's accreditation standards, individuals who wish to receive CE credit are required to dial in for the webinar via phone. We have found that offering sound via phone only ensures most attendees are able to meet this requirement.

Q: What steps are necessary to qualify for CEU credits from your webinars?
A: Please find instructions and requirements for obtaining CEU credits on the Accreditation Information page.

Q: If I failed the webinar post-test, can I retake it?
A: Unfortunately, no. In order for us to meet the requirements set forth by our accrediting bodies, the post-test must be completed, submitted, and passed within two weeks of the event. For complete information on obtaining CEUS, pleaseclick here.

We also encourage you to check our Events page for future opportunities to obtain CEUs.

Q: How many credits can I earn for each webinar?
A: Each 60-minute webinar session is eligible for one CE contact hour for social workers; and 1.25 CE contact hours for nurses.

Q: I have not received the post-session materials from the webinar series. What should I do?
A: Post-session materials are sent out no later than 5 PM ET two business days after the webinar presentation. (For example, for a webinar held on a Thursday, materials will be distributed no later than 5 PM ET the following Monday). If you do not receive materials within this time-frame, please contactcancerandcareers@cew.org

Q: I received an email saying I did not qualify for CEUs because I did not dial-in. However, I did dial-in. Who should I contact?
A: Apologies! Despite our best efforts, this does happen very occasionally. Please contact cancerandcareers@cew.org and we will look into it.

Q: I have a question that was not answered on this page, who do I contact?
A: Any questions not addressed in the above FAQ can be directed to cancerandcareers@cew.org
