Steve Johnson, a t-shirt designer, is known as Scuba Steve to his many adoring fans. Two years ago he was diagnosed with colon cancer and told that he had just six months to live. However, this past January, he celebrated his 33rd birthday just days after he was told his cancer was gone.

Though the doctors told Johnson the battle would be uphill and exhausting, he claims he never thought once to give up. Johnson recalls thinking "I have so much more to do. I have so many plans in my head that if people could see it , they would be amazed. I chose to fight."

Scuba Steve has returned to his t-shirt printing business and credits the support of his fans as a major source of strength through his battle.
